      "Novel prize in economics" is a bit of a scam.  It's different from the "nobel peace prize" and

      The Econmoics one is run by the Bank of Sweden and there are some conspiracy theories about it since so many Chicago-ists kept winning economics prizes from it, that they had to reform their selection policy.  With that reformed policy, Joseph Stiglitz won the Economics prize which basically refuted their 'magical thinking' of the free market.
