  •  Lynching? Talk about inappropriate. (12+ / 0-)

Nancy's statement does not warrant a lynching (from what I read on her site). She just called Pete's comment "inappropriate" which, imo, is less than "wrong".
She DOES have a duty to keep some semblance of civility
and dialoque in the House. And she WAS four-square on her positions last week.
Yes, I have been disappointed in her, but this particular sin is being blown out of proportion.

My subject line refers to your inappropriate use of the word "lynching."  No one here is advocating that.

Second, Pelosi has a much higher duty than keeping semblance of civility and dialog in the House.

Third, in keeping with your "theory" of her responsibilities, she could have simply said:  "When Bush apologizes for misleading us into war and not funding health care for children, then I'll revisit your question about Congressman Stark's comments."  That's what a real leader and politician, like Stark, would have and did say.

Include in the FISA bill that citizens and companies can go to the Court for a legality ruling, when requested to supply information to the government.
