    And giving a stage to the guy who says it is another major dis.

    If McClurkin is a real supporter, then he should be willing to withdraw from the event "for the sake of Senator Obama's candidacy."  But having the two of them on stage together is a horrible slight to a large segment of the country, moreso than asking him not to come would be.  I don't think a Gospel concert with several acts but not McClurkin will lose Obama a lot of supporters come election day, but he's certainly losing a hell of a lot of support by keeping him on the bill.

    If someone he'd booked for a religious event turned out to be a proponent of the idea that Jews are evil and must be converted or killed for Christ to return, would he have to keep him on the bill to avoid offending the antisemitic bloc?
