  •  Christians are a bit turned off right now (0+ / 0-)

Larry craig, that pedophile from Florida, duke cunningham.  Its been a bad run.  Its expected that democrats have this flotsam and cling to it:  Jesse Jackson, Rostenkowski, Ted Kennedy, Fat al sharpton, cynthia mckinney on and on.  Republicans expect more and better then this.  Christians might not turn out in 2008 and if not then lets bring out the blue dress and wave it from the lincoln bedroom.

if you have to trot out the tired stuff, you've already lost. Abramoff investigations, otoh, are still active (along with the stuff you've mentioned).

Republicans have one other big problem - well, two - Iraq and Mr 24% in the WH. Both are millstones around the neck.

I know and work with many small town small-government R's (though in New England, it's still considered rude to talk religion). You folks are going to have a bad year.

What a sordid bunch. No wonder so few people admit voting for them these days. Except you, troll.
