  •  When did he (4+ / 0-)

move to Bainbridge?   I thought his headquarters were previously in Madison or Painesville (and before that he was from Cleveland Heights.)

Moving might help him in a future gerrymander actually; the Chagrin Falls/Bainbridge-to-northern Trumbull County part of his district is considerably more conservative than the rest of it if it were to be recentered further south.

    •  If remember correctly (6+ / 0-)

(and I could be wrong) he moved when he dumped his first wife in favor of his lobbyist second wife.

He used to live in Madison or at least his wife and kids did. He was in DC gamboling with a young lobbyist. Eventually he called his wife and told her he was no longer interested in being married and according to her, refused to go to counselling, obviously because he already had something younger and fresher on the line. Apparently the old environs weren't classy enough for the second wife and they moved out to Chagrin Falls. Recently, he moved to Bainbridge, right in Bill O'Neill's backyard. It's not as Republican as you might think and moving won't help him when we UNgerrymander in 2010. If that part of the district were attached to Trumbull County -- the utterly devastated Warren -- it'll never elect  another Republican.

We're retiring Steve LaTourette (R-Family Values for You But Not for Me) and sending Judge Bill O'Neill to Congress from Ohio-14:
