  •  Can a sociopath BE a coward? I don't know. (12+ / 0-)

But Bush is surely a sociopath.

And one way or the other, all 3 definitions apply to Bush.

    •  All three definitions apply to most of BushCo... (8+ / 0-)

Remember when Wolfowitz was asked why he favored invading Iraq and he answered: "Because it was doable."  Fits definition #2 like a latex glove. That is a bully talking.  Also, along with most of BushCo, he was a stupid little man who had no idea that it was not "doable".

These guys 'n gals in BushCo are manipulators and followers. Basically, the most superficial of cheerleaders and salesmen.

Indeed, the broad term "sociopath" is accurate. More precise categories are available.

Narcissistic Personality Disorder and Antisocial Personality Disorder are abundantly present with these BushCo people.

Neither category leaves much room for reality testing. Fact is, NPD and APD (formerly ASPD) present with exaggerated self-confidence -- quite apart from performance.

BTW: Groucho Marx said: "I'm a passionate lover. Just ineffectual." Got a huge laugh.

        Nobody in Iraq is laughing.
