reason" -- then it's easier to feel that's it's reasonable to believe a pregnant woman has an obligation to the potential person growing inside her -- even if this means it puts a greater burden upon women than men. Either: life is often unfair, but you have to deal. Or: You were born a fertile woman for a reason. It also puts a greater burden on poor families (who have less economic resources to devote to medical needs of pregnancy and growing children) than rich families (who have more resources and/or abortion care options). Me, I think my biological sex was a coin toss.

It's a quirk of nature (actually, nature's manipulations) to hook sexual pleasure with procreation. Too much of what you write seems to want society to enforce nature's opportunism & sexism, and doesn't account for BC failure. My pregnancy happened because my IUD failed -- early, so the fetus wasn't developed enough to feel pain.

Right now, I don't agree with nature: we're way past earth's carrying capacity and nature's agenda of "more, more offspring" is making the situation worse.

If your local service workers don't get a living wage (including healthcare) then your local social contract is broken
