    read it in hardcopy, unless it's at the dentist's office and there's nothing else.

    Newsbeak revolted me by standing by Joe Klein when he lied about being Anonymous, who wrote the novel Primary Colors. (It sucked galaxies through a straw--I couldn't get past the first 15 pages, and I'm the most voracious reader in Fairfax County.) Klein had castigated Bill Clinton for lying about the Monica thing.  So Newsbeak has one set of standards for itself and one for everyone else: just great.

    I only hit on that Web site once a week to find Eleanor Clift's latest column--and gods, do I have to work hard to find it, too.  They certainly don't make it easy.  I assume they will hide Markos' column as well, but I'll find it.  

    If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always got.
