    it's about time this issue is front and center. Between the recall of Davis, the Governator, DiFi, Scarey electronic Voting Machines, being approached at the Market to sign a petition to change the electoral votes in California, I worry that while everyone is worrying about the other viable swing states, California will become one of them. At least we got Debra Bowen voted in as SOS last year that will help us but the other stuff is really wack. I worked as an inspector last election ('06) and was shocked at the number of Repub's in my liberal district, not to mention the RepubFreaks rule the talk radio here in LA.

      ... be a swing state for the presidency, at least, any time soon.  Let's just focus on holding Feinstein accountable and not worry about these kinds of scenarios.  If the GOP didn't win the presidential vote in CA after the Gropenator installed his own personal hack as SoS, they certainly won't win it in 2008 or any other presidential year in the near future.
