Over 120 comments and not a single apologist weighing in to defend AIPAC?  Maybe it's a travel day for them.

Oops, I spoke too soon.  Somebody got troll-rated for being less than sensitive when talking about a domestic enemy of the the United States.  Too bad, but not at all surprising.

In fact, it just illustrates how extremely difficult it will be to fully eradicate their influence.  A good starting point would probably be to ban any dual-citizenship types from having any role in government.  And anytime they appear on the tube spreading their propaganda, they should have that status displayed as prominently as if they were an (R) or a (D).  So something like (D/C - Israel) should appear.

It's just truth in labeling.  So bring on that troll rating.  As a deeply disgusted American citizen, I welcome it.  Just be aware, it's going to say a lot more about you than it says about me.

on the one hand they call liberals -- or whatever the heck people like me are labelled -- 'spineless,' on the other, they demand that we contort ourselves all out of shape to make the declaration:

American principles and American values are what I stand for, NOT Israeli or zionist or judaic values.

      There IS a difference
And if you're in the US, US values prevail.

as I did this morning in a different diary, that AIPAC represents Israel's 'national interest' about as effectively as Congress represents ours. AIPAC is not, after all, the Israeli lobby, or the Jewish lobby -- it is the Israel lobby.

You're right, of course - AIPAC is but a symptom, though, and is not the cause IMO. Sibel Edmonds makes this clear.
