    from the Republicans more than the Democrats.  On every single issue but Iraq, Paul should have zero appeal to Dems.  But Iraq is the single issue the most people care about, and until you realize what lies behind his Iraq rhetoric, Paul sounds good on that one.

      Basically the Buchananites.  If you are right leaning and don't like neocons, you have no where to go but Paul.  If you are left leaning, you can actually vote for a candidate with a chance of winning instead of making a principle vote for a third party run by Paul.

        I happen to mostly concur with him on foreign policy but his stand on abortion has got to be more of a concern to most voters than his stand on Iraq would be a draw.  Frankly, the anti-choice position runs counter to Libertarian principles as well.
