    on college affordability

    about the only mention I remember was Rudy prattling on about choice, including not only private but parochial schools.

    Oh, and his phrasing was so bad that he implied that there was no choice but to go to public schools, when what he was talking about was having tax dollars pay for other forms of education.   Parents have all those choices right now.

      but honestly I'm glad that the Repugs aren't being pressed on education. It might encourage them to come up with a plan. Considering what we've seen when they were pressed to come up with a healthcare plan (second debate?) I really just don't want to see it. Let them get caught off guard in the general. If they have a plan, our candidates will try to get all bipartisan about it, and education's about the only issue we have left with real integrity in almost all the candidates' platforms.
