    So, if you add up the number of delegates in Counties with less than 10, you get 288 delegates. (Just trust me on this. I is good at math.)

    So. That's more than 10%, and given how close the race is, it could make all the difference. I will be very curious to see how these smaller counties do, especially since only 3 of these 41 counties have an office in them.

      work out of their houses in the smaller areas.  Having to open up offices indicates that there is no organic interest.  Desmoinesdem for example is doing a ton of stuff from her house.   Much more organic way to do it. travel light, familiar faces with a knowledge of the neighbors.

        and if there is an office within spitting distance, makes sense to consolidate resources.

        but i think your point about personal contact is very true. it is much easier to sway someone if you are a trusted source. or just not a stranger!

          Bradstreet used it at Frontenac. He was the son a British Officer and French Canadian.  He knew all the inlets and shoals.
