while coaching a forming cohousing group in the Chelan area: Sunshine Valley Farm.

Incredibly beautiful/dramatic territory, deep canyons and high dryer land a marked contrast from the lush west-of-the-Cascades Seattle-ish flavor we associate with the Pacific Northwest.

As an Fellowship for Intentional Community boardmember, I'm planning to get back out there to explore more of the tapestry of community visions inspired by the terrain.

Thanks for a wonderful piece that helped me integrate my approach/understanding.

We're just up lake about 7-8 miles from there - we buy fruit at Sunshine Market sometimes, but get lots of free culls from Wynne and Scott (who are in Guy's film about apples/organic) in exchange for pickling their cucumbers. The film runs on the DOC channel sometimes.

My wife knows Guy - I haven't met him - and my neighbors have been interested in that intentional community too. My niece once cut Linda Evans-Parlette's hair (Guy's mom).

Small town stuff - everything's connected.
