that have integrity..just like they're some boot licking corporate loving Democratics...Chuck Hagel comes to mind as a decent Republican...I don't agree with Hagels pro-life agenda..but he certainly showed Bush where the bear sh*t in the woods..we've had enough hate to last a lifetime from Bush/Cheney/Rove....they are not Republicans..they are terrorists, give Edwards credit for trying to get this country back together and the good sense to not put people like David Addington, Richard Perle, Karl Rove, Dick Cheney, Condi Rice, Ari Fleischer, etc.(the list is long) in his cabinet or as White House or Executive aides

    •  Well, isn't a "pro-life" agenda enough? (0+ / 0-)

Enough to reject that person?  It's really an "anti-life" agenda anyway.  An "anti-woman's life."

      •  For which position? (0+ / 0-)

Does a pro-life point of view render you incompetent to be Secretary of the Interior?  Secretary of Defense?

I wouldn't put one in as Surgeon General, or Director of Health and Human Services, but if that's their only Far Right stance, there are a number of Departments where it would be irrelevant.

        •  Agreed, but a caution... (0+ / 0-)

...you are only referring to official job responsibilities.  The prez informally may listen to their advice on other matters, though.  Of course that could happen re anyone in his life.  Just something that needs some consideration.
