      have their own "Joe Klein".

maybe I'm being a bit harsh.

      •  no, it's a good point (1+ / 0-)

I don't think every outlet "has their own Joe Klein." And I'm not saying that any organization should suppress Republican/conservative voices. All I'm saying is that if a supposedly neutral media organization is going to behave in this manner (from rigging Prez debates at Fox to this mess at Time) then they should be boycotted by elected Democrats, since they clearly aren't neutral.

The boycott of Fox hasn't produced anything like a change in Fox's coverage, but it wasn't meant to. All it needed to do was demonstrate that Fox is not neutral. It undermined Fox's credibility as an independent news organization. Fox was and is a propaganda outlet; all the boycott did was take the sheepsuit off the wolf.

Is such a thing necessary with Time? I dunno, but before I read this crap about refusing to publish letters from elected officials, I wouldn't have even thought about it.
