    •  I have to wonder.... (4+ / 0-)

Whether Bush watched those torture videos like snuff flicks. He did use to blow up frogs as a boy.

      •  Great minds. (1+ / 0-)

      •  And I don't get (5+ / 0-)

how anyone can even stand to look at this stuff.

I think since the images came out I have maybe seen twenty or thirty of them, total. Never went looking, just couldn't avoid them because others were using them in diaries and blogs and news stories.

I'm a writer with a tendency towards reading dystopias. My imagination is such that if I could actually stand the genre I could probably write really stomach-churning horror stories.

I'm also one of those people who only kills bugs that have gotten inside buildings and tries to save the earthworms on the sidewalk when it rains.

This stuff? These things that have been coming out, the things we already knew were happening?

These things that are real should never have even been composed as fiction.

I will never understand why someone would do these things or observe these things out of supposed duty or under orders much less out of pleasure. I am glad I will not understand, and I am saddened that it is there for me to not understand.
