    Legally (assuming there is anything legal about Addingtons the DOJ OLC definition of torture) Bush is on solid ground when he says "we don't torture" unless those videotapes included evidence that they went beyond the Bush definition of torture.

      provided by the Addington type memos -- means that he can claim that he wasn't involved, but I think two factors will prevail if properly pursued:

      1. The redefinition of torture, with its tortured prose, will likely be overturned;
      1. The painstaking care that Bush took to stay within the definitions of the legal memo will indicate that he did indeed know the difference and sought to protect himself in spite of the fact that the memos were tortuously worded.

      that stupid-assed smirk he has on when he is talking about torture. I hope impeachment is off the table. I want him brought up on war crimes.
