    I guess an advantage for being a swing state is Kerry will most likely end up here at some time or another and I may get to see the guy.  The disadvantage is Bush might also come, and I wouldn't want to get within three states of him.  Last year he came to Oregon and in the exact spot he was going to speak, a forest fire started and burned umpteen acres long after he left.  He just brings bad energy wherever he goes.

      It is something we can DO. I wouldn't worry about Bush. I don't think you would be willing to sign the loyalty pledge. I wouldn't mind going to Bush, if I was allowed my dignity, but then we ARE talking Republicans.

      Kerry OTOH is drawing big crowds, and I am very heartened by that. I am also sure that the other side is worried as hell by it. Bush can't get in front of a big crowd. He can't give interviews or news conferences. He can't lead. What the hell can he do, anyway?
