You know, Dubbya is managing to stick it to anyone and everyone before he leaves office.
Have you heard of the new T.W.I.C. program? Terminal Worker Identification Card-anyone who works on the docks, in a refinery, on a vessel(I guess the Coast Guard ID wasnt enough)or goes into a terminal needs the ID.
These people already went through extensive back round checks by their company(fingerprinting,FBI check and drug test) but now they must pay LOCKHEED MARTIN 132.50 to keep their job! Companies are NOT ALLOWED to pay for the I.D.'s-read the guidelines.
132.50 for a glorified driver's licenses. Shocking the contract went to Lockheed Martin, but more shocking that Bush would taint the remaining base in his 26%

Less government, lower taxes! The I.D. program is typical of the last 7 years of injustice. The kick in the pants is employees must pay from their own pockets and the companies like Exxon are not allowed to pay-their hands are tied by the rules!

It's the last hurah for Dubbya's friends to milk every last penny from the working class in the form of fee's.
Of course, one must wonder, what is the democratic congress doing to fight such outrages?

    Promises, promises.

can't be restricted as an exemplar to the rest, then the whole population has to be restricted.
That's the conundrum that people who believe that the purpose of government is to control the population face.
