    Didn't he say in the hearings something to the effect that he was going to be more or less independent and reverse the politicization of the DoJ?

    Schumer is not our friend on the big issues given his support of Lieberman and Mukasey.

      that he would refuse to prosecute any citations for contempt of Congress.

      So some types of politicization of the DOJ are obviously still quite acceptable to him.

      I find it increbible that after all this time Mukasye still doesn't know if waterboarding is torture. Is he braindead ? The wealth of case historys we have prosecuted for the crime of waterboards , to a judge would be a no brainer.

          He should of been read-in the day he started his new job, in fact , he should demanded it. Anyone worth their salt would of wanted to know what they had stepped into.
