I thought Brazile was going to be horrible on Crossfire, but the last two days she's had some great moments.  Far better than Begala or Carville, who often comes off like a lunatic.

That GOP strategist basically answered the question by saying "abidi-abidi-abidi-humina-humina..."

    •  I thought she _was_ horrible at first-- (none)
They let stand the "most liberal senator" fiction and the death-tax-will-kill-family-farm fictions.

Isn't it Al Franken who says nobody's ever found a family that lost its farm due to the inheritance tax? In any case, with Bill Gates Sr. favoring the tax, our side ought to become able to slap down the opposing claims in a phrase or two.

So anyways, fearing the usual rhetorical squirt gun against Niagara Falls, I went back to work & missed most of the show.

      Wonderful! I'm impressed.

I guess we're going to have to suffer through a lot of missed rhetorical chances while we're getting back in practice.

    •  I am not a Donna Fan, but she Kicked Ass... (4.00)
      this week on HardBall.

She knows how to use silent pauses to DESTROY the other side. Tucker says something stupid, and Donna gives him the Belushi eyebrow raise, saying nothing.

Forget Carville, forget Begala. Give Donna two months and Tucker is toast. And I bet Novak won't go on air with her, at all.
