    that I agree with.

    In the deep south the GOPer leaders go to the black ministers and have them put out the word to their flock that the Democrats have a pro-homo agenda knowing full well that in the black community being gay is like having the plauge.

    It's a strange relationship because these same Republican leaders who are telling these black ministers not to vote for Dems because the Dems like gay people are also the leaders of a party (GOP) that is mainly made up of angry old rich white guys who despise black people.

      I learned the power of that sort of appeal.  She didn't tell me why, but this one black girl from Mississippi told me that her minister told the congregation to vote for Bush in '04 so she did.  She didn't really know anything about politics, she just followed the leader.

      If some smart GOP hacks can start working the relatively large population of black small business owners, they could make serious headway.
