I think it is Atrios that has a long op-ed recycled whereby mainstream journalists decry the advent of the amateur. "The average amateur", they sniff in a high dudgeon, "has no more business than Tom Paine of trying to publish for the public".  The funny thing is that MSM journalists are either about as relevent as buggy whipmakers or else are younkers who have landed a job with familial assistance because they forgot to major in anything in college. The amazing thing these days is the number of "professional" journalists with no journalistic training and scant education.

Last I checked, there is no licensing requirement to be a journalist - one must merely do journalism. The journalistic class, those elitist snobs who put themselves in the role of gatekeepers for their own profession, try to hide that little fact from the masses behind contrived graduate programs that serve little purpose. Their disdain for citizen journalists is only a way to keep a spot at the next press conference or party - the ones "rabble" like us are thankfully not invited to.

Land in your hand you'll be happy on earth Then invest in the Church for your heaven.
