    "both sides of every issue". By this standard we would also have to prove that murder is morally repugnant.  Waterboarding is an old technique dating back to the Spanish Inquisition at least and is expressly forbidden by the military code of conduct. In other words, we have already had this argument and settled it.
    Otherwise, this would mean that a moral argument would have to be made against handing out smallpox infected blankets to Iraqis.

      but when roughly 40% of the country feels it's acceptable for us to torture "suspected terrorists" (i.e. anyone we want), i don't really understand your approach of forfeiting the debate just because you're really really sure you're on the side of right.
