    Black, Grey and White

    according to shades of perceived Nazism.
    The 'blacks' hardcore SS and mouthing off prisoners were kept under heavy armed guard and not allowed out for work or anywhere near civilians.
    The food rations to the classifications also depended on status, so 'Black' nazi POW camps were at the bottom of the delivery list, people died of starvation at the black camps.

    Read up on the system, its not all roses and happy POWs being all friendly with civilians.

    Morality is the single most important issue.
