    from all the branches should be resigning their commisions now. To not do so shows us that they don't think that following the laws of the US, the Military Codes of Conduct and the Geneva Convention are what military lawyers are supposed to do.  For shame that more are not following Lt Commander Williams lead.

      I certainly support his right to make a statement by resigning. But JAG officers provide a valuable service to our men and women in uniform, especially when they deploy. Many of them are still under their service obligation, and for those who are not, I certainly wouldn't call them shameful for continuing their duty.

      Also, the Codes of Conduct have nothing to do with our treatment of POWs. They're a guide for our own behavior should we become captive.
