So many posts on Dailykos that Edwards is somehow more liberal, more progressive, more electable, etc.  Obama is not going to be more partisan, I think he is going to lead and get all the things done we need.  I have total faith in his ability to put together an administration and get a lot accomplished, at home and abroad.

I think his race is significant by winning in Iowa.  I didn't realize Iowa was 94% white.

I gave $100 on my credit card tonight after the win.  And I hope this helps..

I like Edwards but I wish he congratulated Obama on his decisive win.  It was weird how he didn't say congrats.

But I think the thing to remember is that Iowa does not equal the nomination. To me, congratulating Obama as another candidate for winning is kinda equivalent to congratulating the other team for scoring a touchdown in the first quarter.

The time for congratulations comes when one person wins and one loses. Today was just the first quarter.

      That's my take, anyways.

      •  Iowa has been a battle for months (0+ / 0-)

Come on, we all know Iowa was a major feat.  Obama pulled it off big-time, and if Edwards came in first rather than a distant second, you'd not de-value the state.

Iowa will lead to a win in NH for Obama.  I can't imagine Hillary wins there with so many independents and a more liberal base.

Iowa is very important. We were just talking about whether not offering a congrats is bad form, and my opinion is it is not bad form, because losing Iowa doesn't equal giving a concession speech.

And I'm not an Edwards supporter. Don't accuse people of being inconsistent just they're opinion happens to differ from your. That is most certainly bad form.
