This is my 1st post in awhile, as I was disturbed by the vitriol being flung by the various Dem factions, but overall I think it's been healthy.  I won't get into the misguided claims of misogyny, but I heard over and over from the Clintonista pragmatists that a populist message wouldn't fly.  WRONG!  After watching Edwards & Obama's stump speeches posted here at the end of the Iowa race, I am ELECTRIFIED.  These are the messages America most needs now - not just change, but HOPE and a righteous rising will to see America be admired once again by rallying to the causes of solving the climate crisis, ending dependency on oil, and showing more compassion and altruism in our economic dealings.  Fuck the pathetic Friedmanesque pricks pimping their economic model that ensures the middle class and poor will get poorer (please read Naomi Klein's Shock Doctrine).  The IMF and World Bank have overextended, and now our own greed and debt thretens to sink our economy and our habitat.  We need to harness the emergent global consensus, truly be global partners, and rally the world to the cause, rather than letting the rich vainly believe they can buy security and health for their progeny, hidden behind walls and armed thugs, while everyone else suffers.  It ain't gonna happen that way, folks.  It's going to be interesting to see how the MSN deals with a populist revolt!  Peace Out!
