    The trouble is that in the past people haven't understood what it means. For instance, nominating Kerry, a defensive campaigner, over Dean, an aggressive one, in an election where structural factors meant the Democrat was running from behind and had to fight hard to catch up. There's more to electability than soothing centrists.
