Those are mostly symbolic positions. If you look... there have been many "first ladies" who have held similar figurehead positions.

She FAILED on her major initiative... healthcare.

I heard her yesterday saying that she "took on the drug companies, insurers and special interests". She was telling a G...D.... lie.

The only thing that she "took" from the drug companies and insurers was their lobbying money.... as Michael Moore's people have pointed out. She was one of the biggest recipients of lobbying money in Congress. In fact...out of all the candidates, she was the biggest taker of lobbyist money.

Why is no one pointing out this fraud? Oh... I know... because she is the preferred choice of the U.S. corporate media....who have been clearly backing her from the start. Therefore... no hard questioning of Hillary's record. She has been getting a pass.

That's why the corporate media and all their talking head pundits can go straight to Hell.
The two fat slobs Chris Matthews & Tim Russert can lead the way.

...But also the Democratic voter who wants to "Go back" to the times before Err George screwed the country up.

The thing is, you can't go back.  Hillary is not Bill.  It's not the cusp of the 21st century any more.  We're there.  Being cynical and bitter about it and slamming others for trying to inspire America (as Hillary did with her "go back to Reality" statement last night) just...  it's just the wrong directon.

We need to move forward.  Those who are endeared to Hillary by way of Bill have to wake up and realize that those days are over.  We can't keep living on division as Hillary (and those supporters who claim sexism drives everyone who doesn't like her) helps inspire.

I don't care if she's experienced in dealing with that junk.  It's the fact she INSPIRES it that makes her a non starter with me.  The fact she plays by Mark Penn's GOP-inspired playbook doesn't help either.

Boycotting CNN: biased news networks are bad for America, period.

    •  And Obama has taken no corporate money. (0+ / 0-)

Or, perhaps it's only 'realistic' if he takes the money.

Son, you're makin' the same mistake with Iraq that I did with your mother. I didn't pull out in time.

has ever been elected to the senate. Ever.  And are you really familiar with what first ladies do?  This is way different than most all of them.  Eleanor Roosevelt is about the only one to compare.

is telling in how active they were in politics isn't it.  Potential first lady Liddy Dole ran for a Senate seat.
