around here in anything to do with Obama.  His critics will use you as proof that Obama's supporters have gone brain dead.

of the last quarter-century of Democratic decline.  One side of it has foisted soulless machine politicians on us before, and the other has given us unworthy lightweights who might as well have called themselves "Poland."  Once (2001) the latter even betrayed us by flocking in droves to an even dumber, less credible candidate than they usually want us to have, and gave us the Florida debacle for our trouble.  And every time they've gotten their way, these people have fucked us - we've never won with their candidates, and we never will.  They don't know what the hell they're talking about, and we lose when the party follows them.

They complain about substance over message, but message is all they want.  They're not interested in winning.  They just want to 'express themselves,' or give some dutiful machine politician his/her 'due', and what results from that is unimportant to them.  And they're even less interested in what happens in the White House, especially since it's so rare (if not unprecedented) for their candidates to enter it.  Who cares if they actually have the kind of leadership style and personality to bring about effective change?  As long as they try and say the right things, who cares if they completely fail by virtue of their inability to wield public support and the government reverts back to Republican control by default?  Far be it from Democrats (other than Roosevelt and Kennedy) to do something as lacking in self-defeating humility as campaign softer than they govern.

      Freedom is in the fight.
