    Preventive Medicine and Injury Prevention are vastly cheaper than patching up the patient after they are ill or injured.  I think the government should be involved in these aspects of health care and the service should be free, or even rewarded.

    kids shoudn't have to argue for vaccinations and pediatricians shouldn't have to dread flu season because of the complexity of vaccinating their patients.

    between your observation and mine, that's a better 'socialized' system. And it should not be a dirty word, any more than our socialized roads, ouir socialized schools or our socialized first responders. ;-)
