      We've found five people like this - thinkers on a grand scale with plans made in a detailed way. We covered Paul Gipe's wind ideas first, Al Zeitz is on the march over at Iowa Lakes, Dr. Wang is more of a futurist than a planner in today at this point.

       Next we'll get with (hopefully) Bill Leighty on a national stranded resources to firmed electricity plan that is well researched and well regarded, and Alan Drake has done similar work with regard to rail electrification.

       The time to act is now ... can't wait for the next election.
