I'd be sure and throw each of them an anchor!

From's afraid of John Edwards because Edwards is  just plain SMARTER than he!

He and the DLC claimed they got the candidates they wanted in 2004 with Kerry and Edwards; at the time, the DLC called them both "Strong New Democrats". Wonder what happened? John Edwards became more vociferous in speaking his mind, and Al From continued to lie. Al Gore gave From the appropriate "what for" in 2002 when he skipped the DLC's national conference and had lunch with his publisher less than two blocks away from their meeting place.

From and Penn are relics, and they deserve to lose this year. I hope it'll be because either John edwards or Barack Obama--or both of them--are on the ticket, and Hillary isn't. What is the most telling thing about From's ideological antiquity? His favorite senator, Joementum, endorsed John McCain this year. They truly deserve each other, and their place in a political museum--preferrably in the archives' storage room.

    •  Yep, that's one of the main reasons (6+ / 0-)

I really, really, really don't want to see Hillary taking this nomination.

      a) It's undeserved.
      b) It will send the wrong message to the DLC assholes.

They need to understand they've been relegated to the trashbin of history.

You can lead a conservative to facts--but you can't make him think.

      national politics for two decades.

Sebelius delivers all the great plains states. They are the low hanging fruit.

Obama or Clinton can run in 2016.  By that time the upper great plains states and some intermountain states will have aligned with urban voters to provide America with a new liberal era resembling that of Swedens in the 20th century.

Those great plains states are perfectly set up to provide energy needed by the urban core of this country, whether its bio, nuclear or liquefied coal. The republicans are captured by the petroleum industry, they can't offer the great plains anything.

Edwards/Obama, that's just the primary crack cocaine talking.  Once that buzz is gone, you'll come to your senses and realize we need those great plains states the same way Nixon needed his Southern strategy.
