you ask others or you yourself make an assessment of Obama when you're reading a diary by SusanHu, Alegre, or LC Johnson (or any other pro-Clinton hack who has a problem with facts)...full quotes are helpful! So is accuracy. Yet I've seen you defend inaccuracy and half-quotes taken out of context provided it benefits Clinton.

And I've never recced a SusanHu or LCJ diary (IIRC).

You, however, are defending this lie.  By recommending this diary, you're proving to be an enormous hypocrite in the same breath you accuse me of being one.

        But Hillary sure is.

      •  No, by recommending this diary, (5+ / 0-)

I'm pointing out HILLARY'S hypocrisy, and the hypocrisy of her supporters here.

You were all SO quick to jump on a misreading of what Obama said. Now you get upset when someone does the same to Hillary? THAT was the point of this diary.

        Two can play this game.

Honestly? I don't care if Hillary said nice things about Goldwater. I think she was an idiot kid back then. And I don't care if Obama compares himself and the times of "change" in recent American history with Reagan and JFK. Of course, all the Clinton supporters who diaried the Reagan comments conveniently ignored the JFK part of his comments, and y'all also seemed to be completely ignorant of what Obama actually MEANT.

You have no right to complain here. You defended the misreading of Obama's comments...now you come here to cry when someone does the same to Hillary?? How convenient for you.

      •  why rec them (0+ / 0-)

when you can spout them, after all?

this is about honesty, not popularity.

first off, I have no "cause." I hate clinton's guts, but I haven't particularly warmed to any of the other candidates to date; I'm not in anybody's camp or advocating anybody as a paragon of virtue. edwards comes closest in terms of rhetoric to what I believe, but he's got a spotty-ass senate track record to answer for.

i don't come here to participate in popularity contests, unlike some. i say what I think and i mean it, rather than pimping myself out for the sake of fitting in nicely with a little herd. and I've been here about 3x longer than you - plenty of time to enjoy the enmity others. you'll get to 70 TRs someday - mebbe I'll buy you a cupcake or something.
