And you, my friend, are in denial.

    •  typo,,,that said, here is what he said (0+ / 0-)

"I think Ronald Reagan changed the trajectory of America in a way that Richard Nixon did not and in a way that Bill Clinton did not. He put us on a fundamentally different path because the country was ready for it. They felt like with all the excesses of the 60s and the 70s and government had grown and grown but there wasn't much sense of accountability in terms of how it was operating. I think he tapped into what people were already feeling. Which is we want clarity, we want optimism, we want a return to that sense of dynamism and entrepreneurship that had been missing."

      - No mention of what Reagan's America meant to middle class and poor Americans:  no quadrupling of the national debt; tax increases for the middle class; massive tax cuts for the wealthy; homelessness; drugs; crime; gutting of the welfare state.

To many Democrats, that is a comment crying out for clarification.  Is his politics closer to Joe Lieberman or Russ Feingold?  We need to know.

I'm sorry he didn't read your Reagan talking points word for word. Feel free to e-mail them to his staff.

Geez, they whine that he mentioned Reagan at all, now they whine that he didn't say enough about Reagan.

      •  keep in mind when they attack grammar/spelling (0+ / 0-)

you have reduced them to the most childish level and they have nothing else. they just show desperation to keep arguing without substance to hear their own voices or read their own words. pretty pathetic really.
