If these numbers hold up, then I'll say what I've said over and over again: this is our best chance ever to elect a real Progressive for President.

The overwhelming number of Democrats and people against voting for more Republicans suggests that a strategy of nominating a centrist Democrat is not needed.

Unforutnately, it doesn't look it's going to happen and we will most likely be stuck with someone who's not progressive as the electorate would not only tolerate, but support wholeheartedly.

Hillary was considered a "flaming liberal."  What's happened in the meantime?  She was elected, and re-elected to the Senate.  I think we'll find she's a lot more liberal than either the Democrats or Independents think she is.  Only the Republicans will keep squealing "liberal!" while she slowly but surely pulls, pushes and slides the country to the left.

I wish she would send Bill out of the country on some kind of "reconciliation junket," though - the sooner the better.

"In this world of sin and sorrow there is always something to be thankful for; as for me, I rejoice that I am not a Republican." - H. L. Mencken
