  •  It depends on what you mean by delegate (0+ / 0-)

A Fair Caveat...Still..... . . .There WERE delegates at stake in Nevada

Yes there were 25.  But they are not delegates to the national convention just delegates to a Nevada convention that will chose pledged national delegates.  Since these delegates are not pledged it is possible that some of Obama's delegates might change their mind between now an April but, baring that, in fact Obama will get 13 and Clinton 12.  According to a second "clarification" issued by the Nevada Democratic Party and picked up by both MSNBC and the Washington Post

Nevada Democratic Party Chair Jill Derby issued this statement tonight: "Today, two out of three Nevadans who caucused chose a Democrat instead of a Republican for president. That is an overwhelming majority vote for a new direction. Just like in Iowa, what was awarded today were delegates to the County Convention. No national convention delegates were awarded."

Later in the evening, that statement was amended to say: "If the delegate preferences remain unchanged between now and April 2008, the calculations of national convention delegates being circulated by the Associated Press are correct."

So it looks like this is just a question of what a 'delegate' is with the Clinton campaign's position being that since the delegates selected today are not legally bound not to change their votes none of them really count.
