    he has said his is 99.999% sure he won't. If he holds off till after Super-duper tuesday he will be spending what is left of his money to get on the ballot in 48 states. (some states it could be too late)

    The other reason it would cost a lot is that the best day to petition to get on the ballot is on primary day. You stand outside and get people on the way out. You know they are registered to vote and they come to you. Paul can't do that if he wants to be considered a Republican. It's bad form to petition to get on the ballot as a 3rd when running for the big two.

    I also think some states have "sore-looser" rules that won't let you on the ballot if you ran and loss in a primary.

    No, I think he will go back to Congress and try to get his 3 supporters also elected to Congress and try again in 2012 or "name a successor".
