  •  She was hated in New York... (6+ / 0-)

..too. Until she got there. This "hatred" is of their creation. She also gets a lot of sympathy for that hatred because people instinctively, on some level, know that that amount of hatred for a single person cannot be justified objectively.

    •  Don't You Think It'll Be Harder.... (0+ / 0-)

....to persuade Missouri to like Hillary than it was New York?

      •  Perhaps..... (0+ / 0-)

...but if we can't win, we can't win. All current Democratic candidates come to us with a set of negatives (some true, some based on lies and half-truths), including Barack Obama.

One thing about Hillary, though, is when people truly see her (not through a filter), they tend to like her more and more. When women take a look at McCain (you have no right to an abortion), they will run to Hillary.

Men--well, they might be having a little bit of buyer's remorse over the last 7 years of Republicanism.

      •  Not with the Economy Tanking - (0+ / 0-)

You might be surprised that the "Show Me" folks want to be shown someone capable of handling a battered economy.  It seems that Hillary has confounded the nay-sayers all of her life.

        She'll win Missouri.
(Oh, wait a second! My Ouija board is talking.)

    •  New York... (0+ / 0-)

...New York is not the Midwest, the Southwest or the South.
