    Given the view that the war would end soon, the Pentagon had little use for expensive new vehicles such as the MRAP, at least not in large quantities.

    Remember at the same time, the military higher-ups are all attending seminars on the specifics of dominating various regions of the world in the coming decades.

    Meaning more wars. Meaning more IEDs, having proved themselves as a cheap and effective weapon. Meaning sooner or later you are going to need the best vehicles you can possibly get.

    Most likely MRAPs weren't bought because key players just couldn't get together on the numbers.

    Until we break the corporate virtual monopoly on what we hear and see, we keep losing, don't matter what we do.
