    What a shock!!

I received an e-mail from Sen Coleman within the last few weeks stating that he supported telcom immunity for all the standard right-wing talking-point reasons. Very disheartening, but not surprising.

Since the majority of this country(and I have to assume MN) doesn't support telcom immunity, it does seem that he's looking after his own a$$ with an election coming up. Politically, there might not be a downside to voting against telcom immunity if he thinks it unlikely that the Senate and House would override the president's veto.

I will verify today with Sen Coleman's office if he has indeed changed his stance.

I distrust those people who know so well what God wants them to do to their fellows, because it always coincides with their own desires. - Susan B. Anthony

I got the same email that he supported immunity for the good of the country.  Another user got an automated reply from norms email server and confused it with a response from norm.

      •  He was never against immunity (0+ / 0-)

Another user got a response from the email software that norm uses and confused that automated response to an actual email from norm saying he opposed immunity.  Norm will vote for immunity, just like last time.
