  •  Kos, Sebelius can't read a teleprompter! (0+ / 0-)

Her Democratic Response, while pleasingly staged, it was horrifically written ("an American" response followed by attacks on Bush and praise of Democrats - I'm fine with all that, but don't start off saying you're going to rise above it all - it smacks of disengenuous-ness).

I am so grateful for her endorsement, really. I'm sure she's a powerhouse. She has striking good looks (I'd say that of a man, too). Governor of an important purple state.

But Obama cannot afford to choose a running mate who will suck the air out of a room.

But then, I presume you know something I don't.

And don't even get me started on Richardson. I'm all for a Latino running mate - but Richardson? Really? Really? Or was that snark....

    •  Sebelius read fine, operator moved text 2 slow (0+ / 0-)

The operator of prompter should have revved up the rpms on the text scroller

      •  Okay so they didn't practice? What about voice? (0+ / 0-)

You know, if I were going to deliver the SOTU response, I think I would MEMORIZE the damn thing.

I don't think it was a technical error, and it made Democrats look clutzy and incapable.

I hope Obama has a chance to show the country what a SOTU should be in 2 years.

      •  She still could have given it a bit of inflection (0+ / 0-)

instead of reading in a monotone.
