  •  She Wont Beat McCain On Her Own. She has more (8+ / 0-)

in common with McCain than Obama.

    - Voted For The War And The Iran Resolution, which was a Bush prelude to more war

    - Said the surge was working

    - Known as a hawk by republicans

    - Negatives as high as the eye can see. 50% of the people in this country will never vote for her

    - Does not attract independents or crossover republicans

I just dont see how she wins the WH.

even though I am one who thinks her win would not be such a bad thing.  Except for maybe that dang Iraq/Iran bit.  But otherwise fine.

    •  Actually, McCain missed the K/L "Iran" vote. (0+ / 0-)

He happened to be out of town, like Obama, when Reid rushed it to vote that morning, after having "tabled" it for the foreseeable future the night before.  So actually, McCain has a better record!

    •  She can beat McCain... (0+ / 0-)

...if one of two things happen.

      1. The election becomes purely about gender.  That is, if 55% of men vote for McCain and 55% of women vote for Clinton, Clinton wins, because more women vote than men.  But I think the difference will be higher amoungst men than women, allowing McCain to win.
      1. McCain has health problems (he is old).

But I think it's much more likely that she loses.

Heck, Obama will have trouble against him.  Anybody would.
