  •  Those in his shadow government. (7+ / 0-)

The John Yoos and the David Addingtons and whoever replaced them.

All the extreme (and controversial) "scholars" he's packed in the executive branch, who pick and poke and pry the edges off the Constitution whenever Bushie needs to do something that he doesn't have the power to do.

    •  This is why Jonah Goldberg is penpal (0+ / 0-)

with the antichrist to conflate liberalism and fascism.

He wants to focus on the ideological aims of the fascists of the 20th century to argue that they had much in common with the liberals of the 21st, ergo Democrats have more in common with Hitler and Mussolini than Bush and Reagan do.

Of course he's ignoring that it is far more appropriate today to discuss the means they used to achieve those goals. And that we know leaves Bush and his shadow government and the Unitary Executive as a closer analog to der Fuhrer than Hillary Clinton is for universal healthcare.

Goldberg and Ann Coulter should be chained together and buried in their own waste. But yeah, I'd be willing to see John Yoo and Addington put in their own bucket.

George Orwell is banging on the lid of his coffin and screaming, "1984 was a cautionary tale, you dolts, not a motivational speech!"
