No shame at all when pointing out blatant hypocrisy. Politico reports that Wright "has a formal role on the campaign." Read the press release that lists Wright's name on Obama's African American Religious Leadership Committee. The diarist also included the press snip, but I guess you didn't read the diary either.

It's too bad that the media doesn't go and see what Clinton's preacher or John McCain's preacher say. And it's too bad that the media does not go and scrutinize what John Hagee said, since he is one of John McCain's supporters. It's just Obama. It seems that the media is following a double standard here.

committee to the Obama campaign, please?

I knew of this before reading the diary - but, please, lets' hear your spin of how this long list of black clergy are official campaign representatives for Obama.

Oh, and beyond the concern . . . what do you hope this inferenced reporting is meant to do, please?

Obama has already stated he doesn't subscribe to all the personal views expressed by his "uncle"-like Wright, and is thus not represented by them.  He learned spirituality from the man, and these fiery speeches about black people feeling beset upon over so many years in the USA is so much noise.

And, has never been a tone in the Obama campaign.  It's entirely inconsistent with Obama's history as a politician.

Love the recent quoting of Politico by the more extremist Clinton supporters, BTW!

the "so much noise" mention above was meant in terms of noise being reported here to inflame.

Not that I feel Wright's points are only noise.  While harsh, he actually seems to offer understandable issues from which to express anger with his congregations, in the context of where and when he presented them.
