still thinking whether she should do it or not.

Will it help Obama win California ?  I sure hope so.

Heard on a cable news channel earlier today that the CA state GOP requires Independents to register as R's to vote for a R in their primary on Tuesday,  while the CA state Dem party  does not.

Will that help a little too ?  If Indies  in California want to vote for McCain they have to register as a Republican (ugh). If they don't want  to change their  registration they can vote Obama.

Once Arnold endorsed McCain, I really didn't think this would happen. I really thought they would both sit this one out.

This reminds me that on Friday, Alam Rangel, wife of Rep. Charles Rangel, endorsed Obama. Some of the pundits on MSNBC figured this was a case of Rangel couple hedging their bets and said that it's very unlikely that Alma Rangel would have endorsed Obama without her husband's approval.

      •  I think it is WAY more dramatic than Alma Rangel (8+ / 0-)

as much as her endorsement is appreciated no doubt.

Having the First Lady of the largest state in this country, whose  Governor is a Republican, endorse a Democrat - that is freakin' HUGE.

I'm sure we can expect NYS NOW to go off on her  tomorrow with another wild over-the-top press release.

I love how Oprah answered the ridiculous 'traitor' criticisms, and how Maria Shriver said, 'I'm not here because of my cousin, because of my long-time friend,  or because I admire her' (referring to Caroline Kennedy, Oprah, and Michelle Obama, respectively).

Maria Shriver said, simply, 'I am here because I want to be here.'

And she quoted that beautiful Hopi prayer - 'We are the  ones we have been waiting for.'
