a good job but I would dispute his description that the audience skewed young. There was an enthusiastic student section that got the eight-clap going a few times but I saw many, many middle-aged women which I guess was the special target of this rally.

My husband and I got there around 11:30, walked over from a remote parking lot and walked around a bit before lining up. I would say from the line, the people in the seats around us and the women that I waited in line with for the restroom :) that the crowd was about 50/50 above and below forty. There were more women than men but still a lot of men for Super Bowl Sunday.

After the speeches were through, and the speakers were shaking the hands of those on the arena floor, we lingered a bit in our seating area. We saw Ron Brownstein from the LA Times chatting with some people.
