  •  How to surrender to terror, step by step (4+ / 0-)
    1. Drop sanctions against the country which provided the bulk of the logistic support for Al Qaeda and the Taliban, while developing its own nuclear program and illicitly aiding other countries in advancing their own nuclear programs (Pakistan)
    1. Refuse to follow Al Qaeda's money trail to the Saudi royal family, even though their personal connections to Al Qaeda and personal support for charities well known to be fronts for Islamic terror organizations are well-known
    1. Refuse to hold the UAE royal family accountable for the systemic use of UAE state-owned banks as the primary money laundering vehicle for Islamic terrorism and international drug running alike, as well documented in the 9/11 commission report on terror finance
    1. Once we're in Afghanistan, lose sight of the real target (Al Qaeda), allowing them into slip into Pakistan - once again without accountability for Pakistan - as we focus on an unwinnable nation building operation in Afghanistan and an even more ridiculous war in Iraq
    1. Talk endlessly about Iraq and Iran foremost in the war on terror, even though neither one gets significant mention in the 9/11 commission report
    1. Make direct payments to former terrorists in Iraq to buy their temporary cooperation
    1. Commit to massive advanced arms sales to Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, further strengthening these terror-supporting regimes

I probably left a couple things out here, but the important thing is that I can't think of a single area where McCain differs substantially from Bush.
